Electronic ballast protective function illustration :

A item protective function:

1.The ballast is out of working while connected power supply but not connected fluorescent lamp

2. The ballast is out of working while the filament of the tube is disconnection.

B item protective function:

1. The electronic ballast will be self-motion protective when the tube leak gas or aged seriously and need to exchange tube.

2. The electronic ballast will be self-motion protective when the elicited wire of the tube’s filament is cut or connected badness.

using illustration:

1.the ballast will be in pretective state and out of working (the lamp is not lighting) when the frequency of on-off is too high .you should cut off power supply and after 5-30 seconds providing the power supply the electronic ballast will be in well working .

2.you should cut off power supply while assembling or exchanging the tube; if it is in power supply state and the electronic ballast may be in self-motion protective; after 5-30 seconds the electronic ballast will be in well working .
